Of course, with the high temperatures and dry winds come the brush fires ... But no city is perfect. Riverside county, just below L.A., is in the shape of the state of Tennessee. I don't know why I noticed that, but there it is. The locals said the fires happen every year around this time. Personally, I would move uphill or downhill, but that's just me.
There are so many low speed car chases here ( at least one a day) that the TV stations need to be creative. The one today was called 'The Audi Chase' because the carjackers took an Audi. There was the white van chase, the Ford chase...my personal favorite is still the 'Guy huffing from a helium tank in the backseat' chase.
