He did a reading and a book signing in West Hollywood. A re-release of his memoir 'The Kid Stays In The Picture' For God's sake, get it and read it. It's fantastic.
He spoke to me, signed my book, and held my hand patiently while I professed my eternal love.
Looking more amazing than he has a right to at 83 (and after three strokes, a coma and paralysis) he was charming and funny and encouraging.
Definite top 5 highlight of my life.
